The Episode starts with Abhi thinking about his conversation with Sarla. Later Pragya thinks how to find out what Sarla sign her. She thinks to enquire and calls Tanu. Tanu thinks to torture Sarla daily and one day she will die. Pragya calls Tanu as a watchman, and says I thought to call you to know about your well being. Tanu gets angry and threatens him. Pragya says will you kidnap me like Pragya’s mum. Tanu says yes, and says they have kidnapped Sarla as she saw her and her boyfriend and knew the truth. Former president of Ghana, Jerry Rawlings is dead. His was a colourful life. Below are some of the things you should know about him: 1. Jerry John Rawlings was born on June 22, 1947, in Accra, Ghana. 2. After he finished from a military academy at Teshie, Jerry became a lieutenant in the Ghanaian air force in 1969. 3. Rawlings staged his first coup in Ghana on May 1, 1979. The coup failed. He was arrested, court-martialed and publicly sentenced to death. 4. He was part of the Free Africa movement, an underground group of military officers who wanted to unify Africa via coups. 5. On June 1, 1979, a group of soldiers sympathetic to his cause got him out of prison. 6. He led another coup, dethroning General Fred Akuffo and then Supreme Military Council. KOGI STATE BREAD LEVY/TAX- POLITICS

The Kogi state government has introduced a levy on every loaf of bread baked in the state. The state ministry of commerce and industry said the levy is aimed at improving the internally generated revenue. But the state chapter of the Association of Master bakers and Caterers of Nigeria (AMBCN) told TheCable on Thursday that the bakers are against the levy. An executive member of the association simply identified as Godfirst said the association has begun moves to meet with the consultant the state charged with collecting the fee. Godfirst said they received a memo from the ministry imposing a levy to be paid “on each loaf of bread” produced. “The letter was sent to us that a consultant has been given the job to generate fund from bakery to state government; to generate revenue to (for the) state government,” he said. “We are trying to meet with the consultant but we have not been able to meet with him. ROBBERS ATTACK 6 CHURCHES IN OSHOGO AND MAKES AWAY WITH MILLIONS

 No fewer than six churches in Osogbo, Osun State were recently invaded by armed robbers who carted away a multimillion Naira public address system. The men of the underworld were said to have stole Mixers and Slave Engine Amplifiers at the affected churches which include Methodist Church, Isale-Aro; Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Bishop’s Court, Jaleyemi; Catholic Church, Popo; Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Isale-Aro; and Anglican Church, Balogun-Agoro. A member of one of the affected churches who spoke under condition of anonymity, said it was unfortunate that the robbers chose to target the House of God to carry out their nefarious activities. EFCC SAYS UNSPENT N4B IN ITS 2020 BUDGET MEANT FOR RECRUITMENT

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says that the N4 billion unspent money in its 2020 Budget is meant for recruitment of staff. Mr Mohammed Umar, The Acting Chairman Of The Commission, Disclosed This On Wednesday In Abuja During Its Budget Defence, Before The House Committee On EFCC. Umar said that the staff recruitment, which should have taken place in the year, was stalled by the COVID-19 pandemic that ravaged the globe in the course of the year. According to him, the commission was in the process of conducting the recruitment when COVID-19 took over, and that is why it still has N4 billion left unspent. He said that the EFCC had also made submission to the committee detailing assets recovery, convictions secured, cases in court among others by the commission. Umar listed some of the challenges faced by the EFCC to include lack of special courts to prosecute corruption cases, lack of personnel, poor release of funds for capital projects among others.
